Veins (2019)

 35mm (color, sound), 57 seconds

Veins consists of multiple short shots ranging from focused and unfocused pictures. These images were shot over a 48-hour period over a weekend. In the duration of the film there is a passing of day to night. This is mostly to be viewed on smaller screens like a phone, laptop or box television.

The passing of time and the flow of images exposed on one another moves the narrative of the characters. The more time passes the closer the characters become entangled with one another. They also become attached to the image, moving and traveling with one another or by themselves. The distorted sounds occur when the images change being an indicator of a more important combination.

Veins employs sequence and the passing of the road to show intentional memory.
