Carter’s Interview consist of multiple clips all compiled together. It was shot over the course of three days visiting locations that were important to the interviewee. The locations consisted of the artist’s studio, their home, and a hiking trail.

 

The footage was shot on a Sony Handy Camera and used specific lighting to illuminate the subject. The change in lighting shows the passing of time.

 

Following the interviewee was important to understanding how their life works and how they balance their interests. Understanding how this person lives shines a light into understanding someone as a person.
